Football is undoubtedly the most watched and celebrated sport in United States. With the growing fan base, this epidemic is crossing borders and attracting huge numbers of football fans from all across the globe. What makes football the most watched sport is the fact that it is simply 'epic'. The adrenaline that rushes through your entire body as your favorite player dashes his way towards the goal post of the rival team is just out of this world. Those of you, who have always been the loyal followers of the sport, know exactly what we're talking about here. While the others who, for some reason haven't experienced this 'experience' yet, well ... you have to feel that feeling, period.

Even if you don't really happen to be a diehard fan of the sport, once you sit amongst the fans during a game at the field, the energy that you'll feel all around will definitely get you going. While the fans, of both the sides, chant for the team of their liking, and the players doing what they do the best; there's very little to no chance of you going "yawns". And you'll find out exactly why the average count of the fans per game was 67,509 for the regular season in 2009.

National Football League was formed back in 1920 as the American Professional Football Association. Back then the league only consisted of eleven teams; however the present count of teams has gone up to thirty two teams. National Football League further comprises of two conferences namely being; National Football Conference and American Football Conference. Furthermore, these two conferences split up in four divisions which comprises of four football teams each.

Every year, NFL regular season, starts in the first week of the September on Thursday and runs all the way to the end of December and sometimes the early January. Followed by the regular season are the NFL Playoffs which is basically a kind of elimination tournament. In that tournament a total of twelve teams (six teams each from both of the conferences) compete with each other. Playoffs then lead to Super Bowl, which is basically the championship game. Before the Super Bowl is held, Pro Bowl is held that is basically an All Star Game. It features the most talented and famous stars from different teams from both of the conferences.

Super Bowl is the biggest and the grandest sporting event in the United States. It is held on Sunday, which is considered to be a De Facto holiday across the nation, and is called the Super Bowl Sunday. On January 15, 1967 Super Bowl was played for the first time following the merger of American Football League and National Football League. Apart from being the second biggest food consumption day, Super Bowl also happens to be the most watched television broadcast in United States as well. And that is because of the ascending number of fans that it has been attracting.

Year after year, NFL packs in the same intensity of thrills and chills in all of its scheduled games. And with the competiveness being at the top, this will only increase with the passage of time. With that being said, it is needless to say that NFL tickets to these games are always in high demand. So the sooner you get your NFL tickets, the better it is.
