Reggae is a modern form of hip hop music, which has a huge fan following. Whereas, Johnny Nash's 1968 hit "Hold Me Tight" introduced the Reggae music to the Americans, which was followed by The Beatles "Ob-La-Di , Ob-La-Da". Reggae music's popularity also influenced the motion pictures and the 1972 hit "The Harder They Come" generated a lot of interest for Reggae within the US. On the other hand, Bob Marley with his band "The Wailers" was busy promoting Reggae music locally. Eventually, Marley got his first international break in 1975 with his breakthrough song "No Woman, No Cry". The popularity of Reggae music never faded since then. Even The Grammys has introduced the category of "Best Reggae Album" in 1985.
