3 Doors Down is a rock band from Mississippi, US. The band has its roots embedded in childhood friendship and love for rock. Band members; Matt Roberts, Todd Harrell and Brad Arnold grew up together and shared a passion that three of them were gifted with. The band started making music and playing within Escatawpa. Their first tour beyond their birth place was when they traveled to Alabama. One day as they were walking through the town they came across a broken sign board, the rest of the alphabets were broken and it only read "Doors Down". Since they were three at the time, they officially named their band "3 Doors Down".
