Justin Moore is among those few country musicians who’ve started to enjoy the appraisal of fans of the genre, pretty early in their career. Coming from the city of Poyen, Arkansas, Justin Moore has released just one studio album so far, and with that he has managed to get the attention of many of the listeners of country music. Moore had his interest embedded in the field of music from his early ages. That is why he started performing while he was still studying at his high school. While he was studying, his uncle performed in a Southern Rock Band. After he was done with his high school he decided to join his uncle’s band, which is why he had to relocate to Nashville Tennessee in the year 2002.
 
At that time, Moore had a music attorney named Bernie Cahill who helped Moore in arranging a meet with a Nashville based young producer named Jeremy Stover. Through Stover Moore got acquainted with a music industry executive named Scott Borchetta, who was planning to launch Valory Music Company at that time. Borchetta ensured Moore of a record deal with The Valory Music Company, and in return he asked Moore to be patient.  
 
By 2008, The Valory Music Group was formed as an imprint of the Big Machine Records. And by the mid of that year, Moore signed his first record deal with the Valory Music Group. After scoring his first record deal, Moore released a single titled “I Could Kick Your Ass”. The single was released digitally and it was then followed by the release of “Back That Thing Up”, which was released as Moore’s first radio single. “Back That Thing Up” was co-written by Stover and another artist named Randy Houser. Later in 2008, the single charted at #38 spot on the U.S Billboard Hot Country Songs.
 
In the meantime, Moore kept on working on his debut album. His album was then compiled as a result of promotion that was called “So You Want to Be a Record Label Executive”. Through this promotion, fans were able to rate the top ten songs from the list through various social networking websites. And by the end of the promotion, the most rated songs from the promotion were included in Moore’s debut album. In 2009, Justin Moore released his next single titled Small town USA, which did considerably well on music charts. The release of single was shortly followed by the released of an EP called “You Asked for It”, which was released digitally.
 
Justin Moore’s self titled debut album hit the store on August 11, 2009. The album took the #3 spot on Top Country Albums as it entered the charts. The album featured nine tracks that were co written by Moore himself. After the release of his debut album, Moore embarked on the Small Town USA Tour to help promote his album as well as the single. While on his tour, Moore made several stops in various small towns across America, and added up to his overall fan base. Later in 2009 as the Small Town USA took the #1 spot on Billboard Charts, it became Moore’s first number one hit. Later he released Backwoods as the album’s third single and it peaked at #6 spot. His forth single from the album “How I Got to Be This Way”, became another one of his charting singles.
