The Buffalo Bills franchise was founded in 1959. This professional American football team is based in the city of Buffalo in the State of New York. The beautiful city is located precisely at the head of the Niagara River' in Niagara Falls metropolitan area. The city was founded in 1789' the population quickly grew and by 1900 century' it was already the 8th largest city in the country. It became a major railroad hub in the years that followed. All this saw a change when in 20th Century the railroad industry collapsed. But the city soon out grew its grief and saw solace in its football team Buffalo Bills.
Right after the franchise was founded' the team hit two major victories and everyone was blown away by Bills' performance since they went on to win two consecutive AFL titles in mid 1960s' first in 1964 then followed by a magnificent victory in 1965. Ever since the franchise has been founded' it has a distinct history; Buffalo Bills is the only team to have advanced to Super Bowls' 4 consecutive times! No other team has achieved this so far.
