Club Deportivo Chivas USA is a professional soccer club that is based in a Los Angeles suburb known as Carson, and participates in MLS. in 2004, when the club joined the MLS, it entered as the eleventh team of the league, and was initially intending to be known as the little brother of parent team of Guadalajara, which is one among Mexico’s most successful and popular team. Chivas USA was formed in August 2004 as the eleventh team of the MLS and has played successfully in its first six seasons.  The club completed the Western Conference of 2007 in the first place, marking the second time in two consecutive years that it entered the playoffs. The home uniform of Chivas USA reflects that of their associated club of Guadalajara, with the characteristic white-and-red striped shirt, blue socks and blue shorts. The team has worn several variations of this set since their founding, the variations being made in trim, number of stripes and their width, and some other minor design features. These are usually coordinated with a dark blue uniform. Their club badge too is similar to the uniform of Guadalajara, and features the shield of the Guadalajara city, while eliminating its eleven stars, which are supposed to represent the eleven league titles that have been won by Guadalajara.
