Indianapolis Colts Tickets
The Indianapolis Colts are the NFL listed football team coming from the Indiana State. They have been in the American Football scene since 1953 and the Lucas Oil Stadium is used as their home arena. They are listed as the South Division members of the American Football Conference. The team started out as a club founded at Baltimore, Maryland and was named "Baltimore Colts". The Colts were the first National Football league franchise to have their own cheerleader's squad.
The Indianapolis Colts were called Baltimore Colt till 1984 when they moved from Baltimore's Memorial Stadium to Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis. Since then this team is headquartered in Indianapolis and holds their annual training every July. The earliest predecessor of the team is considered to Dayton Triangles incepted in 1913.The team underwent many transformations to become the Indianapolis Colts of today.
The Colts of today have white and blue uniforms and horseshoe as their logo. The anthropomorphic horse Blue, introduced in 2006 is their official mascot. Blue is not just a random horse but has a whole background story for being the Colt's mascot. He is originally from Jockey, Indiana where he grew up on a big farm. His favorite hobby was to watch all the matches of his favorite team Indianapolis Colts. He was actually supposed to be a race horse but he somehow developed this blue spots. The Spots gradually turned him completely blue and he could no longer stand being ridiculed by the other horses so he ran away. He was wandering around when one day it came to his knowledge that Colts are having tryouts for the team. It was then when it occurred to him that he doesn't even have a name and cannot participate in the tryouts. He was in quite a fix when Colts owner found him and after listening to his story he was quite convinced that he has a lot to offer. Since then Blue is the official mascot of the team and cheers in every Colt game.
The Colts have a very tremendous game history with three National Football League Titles and two Super Bowl triumphs to their credit. The First NFL championship won by Colts was in 1958 followed by a consecutive win in year 1959. The National Football league title for the Colt was in 1968 though they have appeared in NFL playoffs for 23 times. The Super Bowl triumphs for them came along in year 1970 and 2006. They have been six times successful in the conference championship out which four were NFL western title while the rest are for the AFC championships.
