The Blue Man Group is a variety show that focuses on avant-garde performance pieces. Now consisting of nearly 40 members, the show started out with 5 members, all of whom would perform music or dance wearing a blue “skin” over their bodies. This eventually began the group’s signature style and led to them performing a number of different events other than music. While it is true they are known most for their original music, they have also started a string of other segments which aim to be informative as well as entertaining. Now, they have morphed into a complete theatre group rather than just a music group. Their program is for the entire family.
