Performing arts represent an undying and long standing tradition of entertainment that has been around for centuries. In the old days many civilizations, most notably the Romans and the Greek gave much importance to theater as a staple form of entertainment. The exposure was not only limited to the wealthy but also to the common plebian. The setting and the environment would be different, with the nobility having access to exclusive and private shows with many exotic distractions and comforts. The common plebs on the other hand gathered around makeshift platforms in marketplaces to enjoy actors act on subjects as diverse as wars and victories or famous political personalities. In today’s modern world people are more inclined towards movies and packed cinemas in their hundreds, as people of earlier times used to pack theaters. With a plethora of new entertainment media available through the internet, movie cinemas, gaming and theme parks, performing arts have seen its audiences dwindle. Yet performing arts such as the theater and circus bring an experience for the audience that is inimitable and just pure and simple fun. Circus have been a famous medium of entertainment for people all around the world, and travels all over the globe performing in front of people of diverse nationalities and delighting them all. Among such acts existing today the Cirque La Nouba tickets are one of the most sought after.
The Cirque La Nouba is labeled as a circus style show which features a myriad of acts based on performances by skilled gymnasts, acrobats and other costumed performers. The name Cirque La Nouba itself has been derived from a French phrase which is translated as “to live it up” or in a similar vein “to party”. This performance is a part of the Cirque du Soleil, which again is French and translates to the “circus of the sun”. A Canadian entertainment company, the Cirque du Soleil prides itself on presenting a mixture of circus acts and street entertainment, the same principle on which the Cirque La Nouba functions. The Cirque du Soleil was established in 1984 by a pair of street performers named Daniel Gauthier and Guy Laliberte. It is currently based in Montreal and is one of the most well known performing arts companies in Canada and the world, with shows in every continent on the globe.
The Cirque La Nouba tickets will allow entry to the event that is permanently based in the Walt Disney World Resort, located in Lake Buena Vista in Florida. The theater where the show is performed is custom built for this particular circus by the parent company Cirque du Soleil, the first free standing structure for them. The theater structure which was designed by The Rockwell group of New York, along with Walt Disney Imagineering has a seating capacity of 1,671 people. The design itself is elegant and innovative with state of the art mechanical systems designed to facilitate the use of props for the various performances.
The performances themselves have earned the Cirque La Nouba immense popularity. In August 2011 the show celebrated its 6000th performance demonstrating its continued ability to draw in the crowds and enthrall them. Their nationwide recognition let them to be given the honor to perform one of their routines during the half time show of the Super Bowl XLI in 2007, an event that is considered the most popular and watched in the United States.
