The Wedding singer is a young story with all the idealism and indecisiveness of early life that reflects in their love matters too. This story of Robert Hart who has a struggling rock band and he is the lead vocalist in that band. They sing at the weddings to make enough money for a living and are good at it with their amiable presence. One day Robert along with other member as usual goes to perform on a wedding and there he has an encounter with a girl of exceptional persona named as Julia Sullivan. Julia is working as waitress on this wedding and is engaged. Her fiance Glenn is a self indulged rich entrepreneur. Robert and Julia instantly hit it off and become very good friends.
The time passes by and both of them one again gets busy in their own lives but somewhere at the back of their minds feel a strong connection. As they get one with their personal lives turns out that Robert gets ditched by his fiancee who opts for a relatively rich man. He is totally broken with this blow and get really low in life. He even quits singing at the weddings as it reminds him of the embarrassment he had to face while standing alone at the altar and spends all of his time at bar mitzvahs. Julia can't see him so down and starts spending more time with him in an effort to cheer him up. Their friendship grows more special with the passage of time but he fears that Julia is marrying Glenn for his money and would never accept his love. It then occurs to Robert that he can't let her marry this man and ruin her life forever! What happens next well you have to see it yourself!!!
