FedExForum is a stadium in downtown Memphis, which serves as the home ground of several teams including NBA’s Memphis Grizzlies and NCAA’s men’s’ basketball program from University of Memphis. Officially, the arena opened in 2004 following the derecho wind storm of July 2003, which almost destroyed the cranes being built close to the famous Beale Street. The construction cost of the arena was two hundred and fifty million dollars, and it is currently under the ownership of Memphis City.
