Hershey Park is the biggest theme park of Derry Township, Pennsylvania. It takes its name from the hometown it is located in—Hershey. It began in 1905 by a man called Milton S. Hershey who built it with the goal of providing recreation to the workers at the nearby "Hershey Chocolate Company". He wanted them to have a place where they could take their families and have a good time when taking a break. Thus, he built a leisure park solely for families. To this date, the park has been in the ownership of "Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company".
